How long do you stay at the wedding for?

My full day packages cover from the Bridal prep through until after the First Dance. At the bridal prep the aim is to photograph details, atmosphere and what is going on.

Part of the detail shots are the Dress, Shoes, Flowers and any other little unique item. Some people have special perfume, jewellery and underwear that they want photographed.

I then go and see the arrival of the groom with his groomsmen. If were at a hotel Il also go say hi to the registras and arrange where to be for the service.

The ceremony, register and exit is photographed. The rest of the day is filled with official family photographs, smaller groups then a romantic photographic session with the bride & groom. This in general is just the 3 of us and maybe an assistant.

The cake, room layouts and other details are also photographed at some point between this and the wedding breakfast. Speeches are photographed too.

The evening reception is photographed to capture the atmosphere and fun element. The cake cutting is usually before the first dance. The dance is photographed and also the fun addition of your guests who will join in.

Unless we have photographs to still do were usually done after the first dance, but this isnt set in stone. Some venues at night are fantastic for photographs.

I hope this helps. In general, every aspect of your day is photographed to create the perfect memory.

We don’t really like our photographs taken, is it full on?

The way I work is to make sure the bride and groom are happy. Nothing is forced and you get out of it what you want to put in. If you dont want to pose too much, then we wont do too much or if you prefer, we wont do any. I have a style that is relaxed and the best photographs flow from your natural reaction to each other.

For those who love there photograph taken then I’ll take them until you’ve had enough.

Alot of the day is photograph without anyone really knowing its happening. From afar as such.

What happens next, after the wedding?

Once the wedding is photographed, the images are then in a queue to be edited. This process takes around 4 to 6 weeks in peak time. Once edited you will be sent a link to the client gallery where you’ll click your name and enter a given password. Family can view this from anywhere in the world with the login info.

Once your happy with your images, any changes made, then a disc or usb will be sent out. If you booked a book package then you choose your images for the book. I then design your book in house and send ove the proofs for your approval. Once approved and your happy the design is sent to Graphistudio in Italy to be made. This takes them 3 to 6 weeks depending on the time of year.

At any point you can arrange a meeting or studio visit to discuss any of the above. Support is ongoing throughout the process. I am available via Phone, email and Facebook

Are you insured and what happens if your ill?

This is a really common question. Professional photographers should be fully insured. But what does it mean.? Not only do we have public liability in case someone trips on my mag etc, but we have indemity too. This covers any failure to provide the service you paid for. Luckily we never need it, but its there for your peace of mind.

What if I’m Ill is really popular. Ive never been ill for a wedding in the 6 years I’ve been in business. I do keep healthy with gym visits and a good diet and private health care. If for some tragic reason I was too ill, then as part of a large network of photographers, someone would stand in at short notice. Despite what people think, we do stick together.

The things some people would ring in sick for like headache, toothace, earache, colds etc, dont stop us. Its too important to miss. Yes coffee and ibuprofen are good friends on days like these. But the service is still 100%.
